This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment.

Position Overview:

· Division: Imprint Plus

· Position Title: Production Associate

· Title of Immediate Manager Production Team Lead

· Location: Richmond, BC

Job Role/ Responsibilities:

· Operate and maintain printing equipment, including digital printers, and other equipment, to produce high -quality name badges.

· Setting up printing jobs according to specifications, including adjusting settings, loading materials, performing test runs to ensure optimal print quality.

· Doming, Assembly, signs, name badges and packaging.

· Monitor printing processes closely, inspecting printed materials for defects or errors and adjusting as needed to maintain the quality standards.

· Troubleshoot printing equipment malfunctions and perform routine maintenance tasks to keep machines running smoothly and prevent downtime.

· Coordinate with other team members, including designers, prepress technicians, and supervisor/ manager to ensure seamless flow and timely completion of orders.

· Follow safety protocols, use of PPE’s and best practices to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.

· Maintain accurate records of production activities, including job details, material used and production times, scraps & rejects to track performance and identify areas of improvement.

· Participate in the preparation and execution of cycle count during Inventory count or as and when needed.

· Assist in other areas of the Operations department as and when needed.

You Possess:

High school diploma / related post-secondary education.
Basic knowledge of printing processes, equipment operation and assembly.
Excellent attention to detail, maintain high quality standards under tight deadlines and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Excellent communication and team-work skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift objects up to 35lbs occasionally and perform physically demanding tasks.
Proficiency in basic computer skills for data entry and familiarity with printing software.

Job Types: Full-time, Casual
