Full job description

Dr. Zakeri Dental Clinic is a small-sized dental clinic in Delta, BC.

Our receptionist will be leaving in August to continue her studies, so we are looking for a full time permanent (30h/week) dental receptionist & assistant to join our team.

We strive to provide high quality dentistry and exceptional patient care. The environment of the office is quite quiet, but we are looking for someone who can: bring a friendly bright energy to the office as the first point of contact for the clinic, be quick with tasks that are delegated to them, and provide assistance to Dr. Zakeri.

Training: July, 2026 - Our receptionist will teach you the ropes herself for a few weeks before the solo start date.

Solo Start Date: Aug, 2026

Wage: Negotiable.

Requirements:

Excellent communication, organization and multi-tasking skills a must.

Radiography licence is required
Background of dental experience as a dentist or dental receptionist or chair side is preferred.
new graduates welcome
Fluent in English
Strong costumer service skills

Duties:

Present the office in a friendly & professional manner over the telephone/email and in person.
Answer phone calls, and respond to emails
Schedule patient appointments
Verify patient insurance information, send insurance claims, and collect co-payments
Manage patient information in the computer system. File & maintain patient charts and physical records.
Keep reception area clean and organized, and maintain sanitation protocol
Assist in chair-side dental duties and tool sterilization .
Assist in taking x-rays (with valid licence)

Schedule: Mondays-Thursdays

Mon: 9:30am-7:00pm
Tues & Thurs: 9:30am-5:00pm
Wed: 9:30am-6:00pm
