Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various construction tasks, including building structures, reading blueprints, and utilizing power tools. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed. The Carpenter/Laborer will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Duties

Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, decking and fencing materials.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications.
Utilize power tools safely and effectively for various construction tasks.
operate small excavating machinery.
Assist in roofing projects by assembling materials and ensuring structural integrity.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety.

Requirements

Proven experience as a carpenter or laborer in the construction industry.
Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Ability to operate various power tools safely (e.g., saws, drills).
Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged standing.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues.
