Marketing Manager

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: $27.00-$35.00 per hour

Job Summary

The Marketing Manager will plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the company's marketing activities. The successful candidate will develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that promote our cleaning and caregiving services, increase brand awareness, generate qualified leads, improve customer engagement, and support sustainable business growth across the Niagara Region.

The ideal candidate combines creativity with analytical thinking and has experience managing digital campaigns, social media platforms, website content, advertising initiatives, and community outreach programs.

Compensation

Starting at $27.00-$35.00 per hour

Key Duties and Responsibilities Strategic Marketing Leadership

Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the company's marketing activities and initiatives.
Develop and implement annual marketing plans, objectives, and long-term growth strategies.
Establish departmental goals, performance metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Identify new market opportunities, target audiences, and business development initiatives.
Analyze competitors, industry trends, market conditions, and customer needs.
Develop and approve brand awareness, customer acquisition, and customer retention strategies.
Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and overall marketing performance.
Lead and supervise marketing staff, contractors, consultants, and external agencies.
Report directly to company ownership on marketing performance and strategic initiatives.
Participate in senior management planning and business development decisions.
Develop policies and procedures for marketing and promotional activities.

Marketing Budget and Resource Management

Develop, manage, and monitor annual marketing budgets.
Approve advertising expenditures and marketing investments.
Allocate resources to maximize marketing effectiveness and return on investment (ROI).
Evaluate and negotiate contracts with marketing vendors, advertising agencies, and service providers.

Digital Marketing Oversight

Direct and oversee digital marketing initiatives, including website management, SEO, local SEO, and online advertising campaigns.
Monitor website traffic, analytics, and customer engagement metrics.
Evaluate digital marketing performance and implement continuous improvement strategies.
Oversee the management of Google Ads, Meta Ads, and other online advertising platforms.
Ensure the company maintains a strong online presence and positive reputation.

Advertising, Branding & Promotions

Direct the development and execution of advertising and promotional campaigns.
Ensure consistent branding, messaging, and visual identity across all marketing channels.
Oversee the creation and distribution of marketing materials, promotional campaigns, and public communications.
Develop strategic partnerships, referral programs, sponsorships, and community outreach initiatives.

Business Development & Community Relations

Develop strategies to generate qualified leads and support company growth.
Establish and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, community organizations, senior residences, local businesses, and referral partners.
Represent the company at community events, networking functions, and industry-related activities.
Identify opportunities to expand services and strengthen market presence throughout the Niagara Region.

Performance Evaluation & Reporting

Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual marketing performance reports.
Assess campaign results, customer engagement, and business growth metrics.
Provide recommendations to senior management regarding strategic marketing improvements.
Use data-driven insights to maximize marketing effectiveness and organizational growth.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.

College diploma in a related field with relevant marketing experience.

Experience

Minimum 2-5 years of marketing experience.
Proven experience in digital marketing, brand development, or e-commerce management.
Experience managing social media platforms and digital campaigns.
Knowledge of SEO, SEM, local SEO, and lead generation strategies.
Experience with Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta/Facebook Advertising, and email marketing platforms.
Experience creating and executing successful marketing campaigns.
Service-based industry experience is considered an asset.
Experience in healthcare, caregiving, home care, cleaning services, or community organizations is beneficial.
