We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer - Full Stack to lead the technical design, development, and integration of enterprise digital health solutions and cloud-native microservices. In this role, you will build responsive web interfaces using React and TypeScript while engineering robust backend microservices using Java and Spring Boot. Serving as an integration specialist, you will architect secure REST and FHIR APIs, implement Smile CDR and AWS HealthLake repositories, and integrate platforms with major Hospital Information Systems (Epic, Cerner, MEDITECH) and Central Intake hubs.

Responsibilities
Full-Stack Application Development: Design, develop, maintain, and support responsive React-based user interfaces and scalable Java Spring Boot backend microservices.
FHIR Repository & API Engineering: Design and implement FHIR R4/R4B APIs and RESTful web services utilizing Smile CDR and AWS HealthLake.
Hospital & Intake System Integration: Architect and build secure integrations connecting applications with Provider Registries, Master Data Management (MDM) platforms, Central Intake hubs (such as RICOH and Novari), and major EHR/HIS platforms (Epic, Cerner, MEDITECH).
Advanced Search Capabilities: Implement high-performance provider and service directory search capabilities using OpenSearch or Elasticsearch alongside FHIR search specifications.
Security & Authentication Protocols: Develop secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using SMART on FHIR, OAuth2, OpenID Connect (OIDC), JWT, and role-based access control (RBAC).
Interoperability & Data Synchronization: Build data transformation, validation, and real-time synchronization pipelines using HL7v2 and FHIR messaging standards across cloud and enterprise platforms.
Cloud Architecture & DevOps: Design resilient, high-availability AWS architectures leveraging ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, EventBridge, SNS, SQS, PostgreSQL, and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
SDLC Governance & Support: Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and automated testing, while authoring comprehensive technical documentation, API specifications, and operational deployment guides.
Qualifications
Full-Stack Software Seniority: Senior-level experience delivering complex full-stack software initiatives using Java, Spring Boot, React, and TypeScript (Strictly Required).
FHIR Repositories & Cloud Data: Direct hands-on experience implementing and customizing Smile CDR as well as AWS HealthLake FHIR repositories (Strictly Required).
Interoperability & Standards Mastery: Proven experience building solutions using FHIR R4/R4B, SMART on FHIR, HL7v2, OAuth2/OIDC, and JWT (Strictly Required).
EHR & Central Intake Integrations: Demonstrated experience integrating software with Provider Registries, Master Data Management (MDM) systems, Central Intake hubs (RICOH, Novari), and EHR platforms (Epic, Cerner, MEDITECH) (Strictly Required).
Advanced Search Technologies: Hands-on experience implementing complex directory or platform search capabilities using OpenSearch or Elasticsearch (Strictly Required).
AWS Cloud & Database Engineering: Experience designing cloud-native services utilizing AWS infrastructure (ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, EventBridge, CloudWatch) and PostgreSQL database modeling (Strictly Required).
Public Sector Expertise: Prior experience delivering software solutions within public sector environments (Strictly Required).
