About Multi Recycling Ltd.

Since 2023, Multi Recycling Ltd. has provided solid-waste recycling services to businesses and communities throughout Surrey and the surrounding areas.

We specialize in the recycling and processing of construction and demolition waste, cardboard, wood, and metal. Our team is committed to providing safe, cost-effective, and environmentally responsible waste-management services.

Position Overview

We are currently seeking one experienced Class 1 Semi-Truck Driver to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating walking-floor trailers and container chassis to transport materials safely and efficiently. This position requires a dependable and safety-conscious driver who is comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operate semi-trucks with walking-floor trailers and container chassis
Transport waste and recyclable materials safely and efficiently
Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
Complete driver logbooks, trip reports, inspection reports, and accident or incident reports
Ensure loads are properly secured and transported in compliance with applicable regulations
Report mechanical issues, safety concerns, delays, and incidents promptly
Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of assigned equipment
Follow company safety procedures and transportation requirements
Communicate professionally with dispatchers, customers, site personnel, and other drivers

Required Qualifications

Valid British Columbia Class 1 Driver’s Licence
Valid Air Brake Endorsement
Minimum of three years of experience operating walking-floor trailers and container chassis
Experience operating manual-transmission trucks
Clean driving record
Ability to provide a current “N” Commercial Driving Record/Driver’s Abstract
Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
Ability to pass a medical examination
Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle inspections, driver logbooks, trip reports, and accident or incident reporting procedures

Work Schedule

Full-time position
Minimum six days per week
Shift begins at 12:00 p.m.
