**SOUTH ISLAND PROPERTY MANAGEMENT IS GROWING!**

We are expanding our portfolios and looking for more property managers to help maintain our high standard of service across the South Island.

South Island Property Management is a family-oriented company operating from Sidney to Sooke to Duncan, BC. Our commitment lies in delivering outstanding service to our clients.

We are seeking a licensed Strata Property Manager who is passionate, goal-oriented, reliable, responsive, and a team player. If you are looking for a career dedicated to helping others, this opportunity is perfect for you.

Ideal candidates will have a strong administrative background and will work well with other managers and staff to meet the needs of our clients. We offer ongoing training and a supportive team filled with knowledgeable individuals. You should bring a positive attitude, patience, and a strong work ethic.

As part of our motivated group of managers and staff, you will share the common goal of providing quality service.

**Responsibilities:**

- Manage a diverse portfolio of properties.

- Engage in problem-solving, conflict resolution, and be resourceful while communicating (both verbally and in writing).

- Review financial statements, prepare budgets, and approve invoices.

- Follow a maintenance schedule for your portfolio and manage projects in a timely manner.

- Attend meetings (evening meetings are required) and complete action items from the strata council.

- Maintain good relationships with clients, contractors, vendors, and your team.

- Work well both in a team environment and individually as needed.

- Demonstrate strong knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Office, and computer systems.

- Have a thorough understanding of the Strata Property Act, Rules, and Regulations.

**Duties:**

- Obtain quotes, schedule maintenance, and ensure the completion of work.

- Respond to emails and phone calls in a timely manner (within 72 hours or sooner).

- Provide exceptional customer service.

- Inspect properties occasionally to complete assessments and understand building systems.

- Maintain all records and schedules for the properties in your portfolio.

- Support other team members as required.

Qualifications

Strong customer service skills and experience in property management
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
Familiarity with administrative tasks
Excellent customer relationship management abilities
Experience in data entry and filing
Effective phone and email etiquette
