Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal according to detailed blueprints and specifications
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) to ensure accurate fabrication
Program CNC press brakes using CAD/CAM software to achieve desired angles and dimensions
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify quality standards are met
Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including calibration and tooling adjustments, to maintain optimal performance
Collaborate with fabrication and assembly teams to ensure seamless workflow and adherence to project timelines
Maintain a clean, organized work area while adhering to safety protocols, including the operation of cranes and hand tools when necessary

<Skills>

Proficiency in CNC programming for press brake machines, with experience in CNC laser cutting, plasma cutting, CNC milling, and CNC lathe operations preferred
Strong mechanical knowledge related to sheet metal fabrication, tooling, welding, and machining processes
Ability to read blueprints accurately and understand GD&T specifications for precise manufacturing
Skilled in the use of hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments for quality inspection
Experience with electrical discharge machining (EDM) is a plus
Knowledge of safety procedures involving forklifts, cranes, and other heavy equipment used in manufacturing environments
Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting during production processes
Familiarity with stamping presses and assembly techniques related to sheet metal fabrication

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$23.00 per hour
