Full job description

We are looking for a reliable Sewing Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will operate sewing machines to attach patches and/or labels to promotional garments.

Experience with Juki and/or Tajima industrial machines is preferred.

Start date is August 10 (subject to change).

Location: Southwest Mississauga

Hours: 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday

Pay rate: $19.00 per hour

Responsibilities

Set up and operate sewing machines according to product requirements and schedules.
Monitor machines and fix minor issues as needed.
Perform basic machine maintenance.
Follow work instructions and quality standards.
Check finished products for defects and quality.
Keep the work area clean and organized.
Follow all workplace safety rules.

Requirements

Previous experience in sewing machine operation, ideally on a Juki machine.
Embroidery machine (Tajima) experience is an asset.
Employment references required.
Strong attention to detail.
Commitment to producing high-quality work.
Warehouse experience is an asset.
Basic understanding of workplace safety procedures.

A skills test may be required before being selected for this position.

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Experience:

Industrial sewing machine: 1 year (required)
embroidery machine: 1 year (preferred)
Juki sewing machine: 1 year (required)
Tajima embroidery machine: 1 year (preferred)

Location:

Mississauga, ON (preferred)
