Net Manufacturer and Repair Technician

Location: 48 Armstrong Loop Road, Pennfield, NB, E5H 1w7
Position Type: Full-Time and Part-Time Available
Wage: Highly Competitive

About the Role:
Future Nets & Supplies Ltd. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Net Manufacturing & Repair Technician to join our production team. This hands-on role involves manufacturing, assembling, inspecting, and repairing netting products using industrial sewing equipment and hand tools. Training is provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Examine netting and materials throughout the manufacturing and repair process
Operate industrial sewing machines, sergers, and other equipment to manufacture and repair nets and related products
Assemble pieces of netting by matching patterns and dye lots
Perform detailed stitching, reinforcement, and repairs on new and used netting
Operate single, double, or multi-needle sewing and serging machines on a production basis
Conduct quality checks during and after production to ensure specifications are met
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
May perform minor maintenance and basic repairs on sewing machines
Work collaboratively with the production team to meet daily output goals

Qualifications:

Ability to operate industrial sewing machines, sergers, and related equipment, or willingness to be trained (asset)
Previous experience in sewing, textiles, net manufacturing, or production work is an asset but not required
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
Comfortable working in a physically active, fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Forklift experience considered an asset
Reliable transportation to and from the worksite
