Forklift Operator – Part-Time, Weekend Day Shift

We are currently looking for a Part-Time Weekend Forklift Operator to join us and be part of our dynamic team.

LOCATION: 1280 Courtney Park Drive East, Mississauga

WEEKEND SHIFT :
Saturday and Sunday (6:00 AM to 6:00 PM) or

Saturday and Sunday (6:00 PM to 6:00 AM)

What You’ll Do:

Operate Double Deep Reach Truck (Raymond Reach) and Counterbalance to load and unload trucks and move goods within the facility.
Receive, handle, ship, and store product.
Pull, pack, stage and prepare orders for shipment.
Conduct daily equipment inspections to confirm safe operating condition
Input inventory movements and put-aways in the WMS.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment through adherence to security and safety policies.
Report any damage / concerns regarding equipment, property, health and safety or inventory immediately to management.
Other duties and assignments as required.

What You Bring to the Role:

Minimum 2 years of Reach and Counterbalance experience in a warehouse / distribution centre. Order Picker experience is an asset.
Experience with a warehouse management system (WMS) is an asset.
Ability to manually lift / carry product / boxes of various sizes up to 50 lbs.
Effective communication skills in English – read, write, listen and speak.
Able to work safely and effectively under pressure in a time sensitive environment.
Consciously contribute to a safe, respectful, and productive team environment.
Able to work overtime as required.
