Full job description

5Blue Process Equipment Inc. is an Engineering Fabrication company that provides process equipment to the oil and gas industry in Canada and internationally.

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Shipper/Receiver to join our team.

This individual will be reporting directly to the Procurement Coordinator, or their designate, and will be responsible for the following:

Unload, sort, and inspect incoming material
Prepare outgoing material for shipment
Ensure proper paperwork flow of Purchase Orders and packing slips
Organize and maintain the work area,
Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to complete work duties
Ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures
Assist with shop housekeeping and maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess a combination of the following:

High School Diploma, supplemented with 1 to 2 years of related shipping and receiving experience;
Must have knowledge of Pipe / Fittings and Flanges.'
Valve Knowledge would be an asset;
Forklift experience is an asset;
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety;
Strong communication (oral and written), organizational and interpersonal skills;
Detail-oriented, strong work ethic, self-motivated;
Ability to work independently and in a team environment;
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driver abstract;
