Job Title: .NET Full stack Developer with Copilot

Job Location: Montreal, QC (3days onsite in a week)
Job Duration: Long Term

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled .NET Full Stack Developer to join our client’s technology team in the financial services domain. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building scalable enterprise applications using .NET technologies across both backend and frontend layers. A key requirement for this role is hands-on experience using GitHub Copilot / Microsoft Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools to improve coding productivity, automate repetitive tasks, accelerate debugging, and enhance development workflows.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, and maintain full stack applications using .NET / .NET Core / ASP.NET Core
Build and enhance responsive user interfaces using modern frontend technologies such as Angular / React / JavaScript / TypeScript
Develop robust APIs, microservices, and backend services for financial applications
Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, QA teams, and architects to deliver high-quality solutions
Use Copilot / AI-assisted coding tools effectively for code generation, refactoring, documentation, debugging, and productivity improvements
Write clean, maintainable, secure, and well-documented code following best practices
Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and secure development principles
Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
Work with databases such as SQL Server and support data modeling, query optimization, and integration needs
Participate in CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and DevOps practices
Ensure compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements relevant to financial services

Requirements:

Strong experience in .NET Framework / .NET Core / ASP.NET MVC / ASP.NET Core
Proficiency in C#
Experience in frontend development with React, along with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript
Experience in building and consuming REST APIs and web services
Strong working knowledge of SQL Server and relational databases
Experience with Entity Framework / ORM tools
Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, or similar AI coding assistants
Familiarity with Azure / AWS cloud environments is a plus
Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum development methodology
Strong understanding of software design principles, debugging, and problem-solving
Knowledge of secure coding practices, authentication/authorization, and data protection principles

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Montréal, QC
