ELBOWS UP! A Locally Owned & Operated Auto Body Shop Is Seeking a Red Seal, Automotive Painter

Are you passionate about cars and seeking to join a tight-knit group of experienced Auto Body professionals right here in Winnipeg, Manitoba? If so, then elevate your career and apply for this amazing opportunity.

Our Client is a well-established and trusted name in auto body repair and MPI direct repair collision services, known for quality craftsmanship and exceptional customer service, and they are currently seeking a Red Seal, Automotive Painter.

Your Role

As an Automotive Painter, you will work closely with the production team and be responsible for prepping and painting vehicles.

Required Experience

Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
Must have Red Seal Certification and a minimum of 5 years of experience.

Responsibilities

Spray polyurethane & basecoat – clearcoat.
Be able to spray different qualities of paint.
Knowledgeable with various paints.
Help to ensure that all paint operations are complete, all masking is removed and all prior paint-related disassembly has been reassembled prior to returning the vehicle to the body technician
Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective repair& Sandblaster.
Hammering out dents, filling, filing, grinding, sanding, and glazing.

Required Tools, Equipment & Licences

Red Seal in Automotive Painting
A Valid Class 5F drivers license.
Tools of the trade.
Steel-toed safety boots.
