Full job description

What you will do

Load/unload incoming deliveries using lift truck, overhead crane, pump truck...
Distributing and storing material and packages in the proper location
Move and change material for machine change over’s and where required
Perform daily checklist. Record required maintenance on lift trucks and perform general upkeep (i.e... fuel top-up, clean filters, battery maintenance, and grease forks.)
Liaison with the Materials Supervisor or Manager to ensure all Safety Data Sheets are current and uploaded to the website .
Perform data entry and documentation duties:
Match packing slip to open purchase order, verify information
Create receipts in the ERP system using “Receipt Entry” and receive materials against purchase orders according to the packing slip and actual material received.
Submit all packing slip daily to purchasing/accounting.
Report any discrepancies to the buyer referenced on the purchase order
At the end of every shift print a “Received but not invoiced” report, attach to packing slips.
Perform incoming goods inspection to ensure material conforms to appropriate quality standards
Maintains and update’s role Standard Operating Procedures and reviews with Material Supervisor/Manager
Perform Waste management duties, and arrange for pick up and disposal
Perform Cycle counts based on the current spreadsheet
Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly
Perform offsite pickups / deliveries as required
Other duties as required

What we need

2 – 3 years performing receiving functions in an ERP environment preferred
Proficiency using a computer
Ability to drive forklift, and operate overhead crane
High School Diploma preferred
Must be able to clearly speak, read and write English; must have good math skills
Ability to demonstrate effective listening and verbal skills
Good work ethic
An ability to read and use measurements and read blueprints
Experience working with hand and power tools
Team oriented with an ability to work with others in a multi-cultural environment
