About the Role:
With the opening of this new plant, we are now searching for an experienced Shipper/Receiver to support the successful coordination of raw materials and finished goods, ensuring accurate and timely delivery to our customers. This is an exciting role for anyone who is looking for an opportunity to help support the development of processes within a brand new facility.
Schedule:
The shift scheduled for this position is 7:00am - 3:00pm, Monday - Friday.
Location:
This role will initially start out of our Paris facility, then will permanently relocate to our Woodstock facility once it becomes operational in a couple of months.

Duties:
- Safely and efficiently perform all shipping and receiving activities, including warehouse and storage area operations, in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Operate forklifts and company vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Perform a daily forklift inspection checklist before use.
- Report any forklift issues to the direct supervisor.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently as instructed.
- Inspect all products for defects or damage during loading and unloading.
- Record and report any discrepancies or irregularities to the Plant Manager.
- Ensure full pallets of products are properly secured.
- Move finished products from equipment lines to designated finished goods holding areas.
- Coordinate and document product movements, including storage locations for raw materials and finished goods.
- Complete all required shipping documents.
- Provide support to packaging and production as needed.
- Coordinate with third-party logistics providers for pickups, loading, and deliveries.
- Perform month-end finished goods inventory counts.
- Support the movement and control of all raw, semi-finished, and finished goods throughout the plant.
- Perform other job-related duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent.
- Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management is considered an asset.
- Forklift certification with a minimum of two (2) years of experience.
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is an asset.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively, tactfully, and professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage time and routes for an efficient delivery process.
- Understanding of QMS (Quality Management System) as it relates to this position.
- Experience with Oracle ERP or other ERP systems is considered an asset.
