Full job description

We are seeking an experienced Sushi Chef to join our team in Niagara Falls.

The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, efficient, and able to work well in a busy restaurant environment. This is a stable, long-term position with consistent full-time hours.

Responsibilities include:

Preparing sushi, sashimi, rolls, and other menu items
Maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
Preparing ingredients and managing sushi bar inventory
Following food safety and sanitation procedures
Keeping the sushi station clean and organized
Working efficiently with the kitchen and service teams
Assisting with opening and closing duties

Requirements:

Previous professional sushi preparation experience
Strong knife skills and knowledge of seafood handling
Ability to work quickly and accurately during busy periods
Reliable, responsible, and able to work as part of a team
Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Valid Ontario Food Handler Certificate is preferred

Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: Approximately 40 hours per week
