Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Part-time Line Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about food and eager to contribute to a dynamic dining environment. The Part-time Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items with attention to quality, safety, and presentation, ensuring an exceptional experience for our guests. Candidates with restaurant experience, kitchen experience, or a background in the food industry are encouraged to apply. This position offers flexible hours and an opportunity to develop culinary skills in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards
Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health regulations
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during meal preparation
Support team members in meal assembly and plating for service
Follow proper food safety practices at all times, including proper storage and sanitation
Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed

Skills

Experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality presentation
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Basic knowledge of meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities during service hours
