Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Kitchen Manager/Head Chef to lead our culinary team with energy, expertise, and a commitment to excellence. In this vital role, you will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, from food preparation and cooking to team management and food safety compliance. Your leadership will inspire a motivated team dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a food industry professional eager to showcase their culinary skills while managing a vibrant restaurant environment.

Duties

Lead and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of food preparation, presentation, and service are consistently met
Oversee daily kitchen operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness and organization
Develop innovative menus that highlight quality ingredients and current culinary trends
Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations, proper food handling procedures, and sanitation standards
Train and mentor team members in cooking techniques, food handling, and customer service excellence
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction
Monitor kitchen performance metrics and implement improvements to optimize efficiency and quality

Qualifications

Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment
Extensive food preparation and cooking expertise across diverse cuisines
Strong background in food service operations, restaurant management, and team leadership
Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling practices, and sanitation protocols
Demonstrated ability to manage kitchen inventory, ordering processes, and cost controls
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team
Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is highly desirable
