Full job description

Select People Solutions is proud to partner with Overhead Doors as they search for an experienced Branch Manager to lead their Calgary operation. This is an excellent opportunity for a people-focused leader who thrives on developing high-performing teams, driving operational excellence, and achieving business results.

The successful candidate will be a collaborative leader who enjoys developing people, fostering accountability, and building strong working relationships across the organization. They will be confident coaching teams, resolving challenging situations, and using sales metrics to guide performance and growth.

Compensation & Hours:

The rate of pay will be $90-105K/year, depending on experience
Monday through Friday, daytime hours

Position Summary:

Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to sales, installation, and administrative staff
Drive branch performance by monitoring sales KPIs, revenue, profitability, and operational goals
Foster a collaborative, accountable, and customer-focused culture across all departments
Coach and develop the sales team through performance management, pipeline reviews, and ongoing mentorship
Lead employee relations, conflict resolution, and de-escalation while maintaining a positive work environment
Oversee branch operations, customer satisfaction, facility management, and safety compliance
Partner with senior leadership on strategic planning, budgeting, and business growth initiatives
Monitor branch financial performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of leadership or management experience
Must reside in Calgary, AB or surrounding area
Proven experience mentoring, coaching, and developing high-performing sales professionals
Strong understanding of sales KPIs, business development, forecasting, and performance management
Excellent conflict resolution, de-escalation, and employee relations skills
Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret financial and operational metrics
Highly organized with exceptional communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Advanced computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and business management software
Valid Class 5 driver's license and clean driving abstract

Experience within construction, building products, distribution, manufacturing, or a related industry
Experience leading branch growth initiatives and improving operational efficiencies
