Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have a solid understanding of food safety and handling procedures. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring efficient service and adherence to sanitation standards.

Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly, providing them with menus and information about daily specials.
Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, specifically Micros POS, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff.
Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring that all items are presented attractively.
Manage multiple tables efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and guest satisfaction.
Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
Adhere to food safety regulations and sanitation standards throughout food preparation and service.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant experience preferred, with a strong background in food service or the food industry.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Strong time management abilities to handle busy shifts effectively.
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is an advantage.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
