Payroll Administrator

Full-Time | Waterloo Region

Are you an experienced Payroll professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment where accuracy matters? Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join their collaborative Payroll team.

If you enjoy working with numbers, solving problems, and providing exceptional service to employees, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing

Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and within strict deadlines.
Calculate payroll deductions, benefits, and statutory remittances.
Process Records of Employment (ROEs) and submit them to Service Canada.
Complete payroll account reconciliations and payroll accounting functions.
Respond professionally to employee and departmental payroll inquiries.
Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, company policies, and internal procedures.
Contribute to a collaborative team while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.

What We’re Looking For

Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation.
Minimum 2 years of payroll experience in a large organization (3,000+ employees preferred).
Experience with payroll accounting, government remittances, and reconciliations.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience using payroll software and reporting tools, including Crystal Reports and Excel add-ins, is considered an asset.
Strong mathematical and analytical abilities.
Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while producing accurate work under tight deadlines.
A collaborative team player with exceptional attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
