IKEA Halifax is looking for a part time Fulfilment Operations Co-worker

Who you are

Perform effectively the core and support processes in the assigned area of responsibility, using the available systems and tools that support efficient operations and data integrity.
Contribute to the highest goods availability through accurate and on-time execution of the assigned fulfilment unit operations area of responsibility.
Commit to all IKEA health, safety and security rules and business requirements within the area of responsibility and actively help colleagues to prevent any incidents involving co-workers, customers, equipment, building and IKEA products.
Ensure optimised daily fulfilment unit operations within the assigned area of responsibility by working in a lean, simple and cost-conscious way, applying and sharing good examples.

Your responsibilities

Pay: From $19.24 per hour

Our Halifax store is located at 645 Cutler Ave, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada, B3B 0M2. Will you be able to get to that location reliably when you need to work there? Please note that there is no public transportation that reaches IKEA for the start of the work shift.
We are looking for candidates for part-time positions of 12–20 hours per week or 20–34 hours per week. Which option suits you best?
This is a job that can be physically demanding. You may be required to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and walk between 15K and 20K steps per day. Are you comfortable with that?
Are you comfortable working with technology? (computers, different systems)
Have you ever worked a night shift?
