About JY Construction

JY Construction is a commercial general contractor specializing in restaurant renovations, tenant improvements, and commercial construction projects across Ontario. We are committed to delivering high-quality workmanship and building long-term relationships with our clients.

We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated, and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our growing team. This role focuses on developing new business opportunities within the restaurant industry, particularly Western restaurant chains and franchise groups.

Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, cold calling, and client outreach.
Build relationships with restaurant chains, franchise owners, corporate decision-makers, property managers, and commercial clients.
Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to contract signing and project handoff.
Conduct regular client visits and attend in-person meetings throughout the GTA.
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities for repeat business.
Work closely with the estimating and project management teams to prepare proposals and quotations.
Represent JY Construction at networking events, trade shows, and industry functions when required.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and business opportunities.

Qualifications

Previous experience in sales, business development, or account management is required.
Proven experience developing new clients and generating business opportunities.
Experience selling to commercial clients or developing key accounts is highly preferred.
Existing client relationships or industry contacts are considered a strong asset.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Outgoing, proactive, and confident personality with a strong customer service mindset.
Strong organizational and client management skills.
Comfortable working independently and achieving sales targets.
