Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and flexable Evening and Weekend Cook to join our team. This role involves preparing and serving delicious meals in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, excellent food handling skills, and experience in food service or restaurant settings. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a welcoming environment while honing culinary skills and providing exceptional service to our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards
Serve food efficiently and courteously to guests or customers
Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
Handle food safely, ensuring proper storage, temperature control, and sanitation practices
Support meal presentation to ensure appealing plating and portioning
Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food handling and kitchen operations
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours

Skills

Proven experience in serving, cooking, or food preparation within a restaurant or food industry setting
Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards
Ability to prepare meals efficiently while maintaining quality standards
Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and customer service
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and basic cooking techniques
Ability to work evenings and weekends reliably in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail in meal presentation and cleanliness standards
Passion for culinary arts with a focus on delivering exceptional food experiences

Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
