We are looking for an experienced heavy equipment mechanic or technician interested in transitioning into a customer-facing technical support and sales role.

This position is ideal for someone with strong equipment knowledge who enjoys helping customers diagnose problems, identify parts, and support fleet operations.

Now, we’re looking for a bilingual team member with mechanical experience who’s ready to apply their hands-on knowledge in a dynamic role that blends technical work with customer service and operations.

About the Role

As a Technical Sales Specialist, you’ll be both a problem-solver and a product expert - a trusted point of contact for customers who rely on your mechanical insight. You’ll diagnose issues, identify parts, and help customers keep their fleets running efficiently.

This is part office, part hands-on role. You’ll spend your days combining technical expertise with customer connection, quoting and processing orders, and occasionally assembling or shipping parts. It’s work that keeps you engaged, balanced, and deeply connected to the products and people you support.

Your Responsibilities

Respond to customer inquiries and quote requests via phone and email.
Use your mechanical background and reference materials to identify correct parts.
Offer accurate product and technical information to guide customer decisions.
Prepare quotes, process sales orders, and manage shipping documents.
Pick, pack, and prepare parts for shipment as needed.
Track orders and coordinate with couriers or freight carriers.
Maintain a clean, organized workspace and assist with inventory.
Support the team with day-to-day operational and administrative needs.

Your Background

Bilingual (English & French) - required.
Experience as a truck, heavy equipment, or diesel mechanic - required.
High school diploma - required.
Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in parts and systems.
Customer service or parts counter experience is an asset.
Clear, professional communication and organizational skills.
Comfortable using basic computer tools (email, Excel, data entry).
Team-oriented and adaptable in a small business environment.
Able to lift up to 45 lbs when handling parts.

Nous sommes une petite équipe spécialisée qui valorise la fiabilité, le savoir-faire et les relations authentiques avec nos clients. Depuis plus de 17 ans, nous soutenons fièrement l’industrie du balayage – aidant les flottes à travers l’Amérique du Nord à rester sur la route et les villes à demeurer propres. Lorsqu’une balayeuse tombe en panne, les villes comptent sur nous pour la remettre en service rapidement – et nous prenons cette responsabilité très au sérieux.

Nous recherchons maintenant un(e) membre d’équipe bilingue possédant une expérience mécanique et prêt(e) à mettre ses connaissances pratiques au service d’un rôle dynamique alliant travail technique, service à la clientèle et opérations.

À propos du poste

En tant que Représentant(e) de ventes techniques, vous serez à la fois un(e) résolveur(se) de problèmes et un(e) expert(e) produit – un point de contact de confiance pour nos clients qui s’appuient sur votre savoir-faire mécanique. Vous diagnostiquerez les problèmes, identifierez les pièces nécessaires et aiderez les clients à maintenir leurs flottes en bon état de fonctionnement.

C’est un véritable rôle hybride – moitié bureau, moitié atelier. Vous combinerez expertise technique et interaction client, en préparant des soumissions, en traitant des commandes et, à l’occasion, en participant à l’assemblage ou à l’expédition des pièces. Un poste stimulant et équilibré, qui vous garde proche des produits et des gens que vous soutenez.

Vos responsabilités

Répondre aux demandes et soumissions des clients par téléphone et par courriel.
Utiliser vos connaissances mécaniques et les outils de référence pour identifier les bonnes pièces.
Fournir des informations précises sur les produits et des conseils techniques pour orienter les décisions des clients.
Préparer des soumissions, traiter les commandes et gérer les documents d’expédition.
Préparer les pièces pour l’envoi (ramassage, emballage, préparation des colis).
Assurer le suivi des commandes et la coordination avec les transporteurs.
Maintenir un espace de travail propre et organisé, et aider à la gestion de l’inventaire.
Soutenir l’équipe dans les tâches opérationnelles et administratives quotidiennes.

Votre profil

Bilingue (anglais et français) - requis.
Diplôme d’études secondaires (DES) - requis.
Expérience comme mécanicien(ne) de camions, d’équipements lourds ou de moteurs diesel - requis.
Bonne aptitude mécanique et intérêt pour les pièces et les systèmes.
Expérience en service à la clientèle ou au comptoir des pièces (un atout).
Excellentes compétences en communication et en organisation.
À l’aise avec les outils informatiques de base (courriel, Excel, saisie de données).
Esprit d’équipe, polyvalent(e) et à l’aise dans un environnement de petite entreprise.
Capacité à soulever jusqu’à 45 lb lors de la manutention de pièces.
