Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Gas Station Attendant, where you'll be the friendly face and efficient operator at our bustling fueling station. In this energetic role, you'll provide exceptional customer service, manage sales transactions, and ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all visitors. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help create a positive experience for every customer while supporting the daily operations of our station. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your retail and sales expertise in a fast-paced setting.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist with fueling, product inquiries, and service needs with enthusiasm
Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash handling, credit card transactions, and receipts
Conduct product demos and upsell items such as snacks, beverages, or automotive accessories to increase sales opportunities
Maintain cleanliness of the station, including fueling areas, convenience store shelves, and restroom facilities
Manage inventory levels through merchandising and stock replenishment to ensure product availability
Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions with clear communication skills and phone etiquette
Handle cash transactions efficiently while adhering to cash handling procedures and basic math accuracy

Requirements

Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred; technical sales experience is a plus
Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly valued for serving diverse customers
Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for transactions and inventory checks
Excellent organizational skills to manage time effectively during busy periods
Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly, professional attitude
Ability to stand for extended periods, perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves, and maintain safety standards
Experience with POS systems, merchandising, or automotive products is advantageous but not required
