Full job description

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Representative to join our team. This role involves engaging with customers, demonstrating products, and driving sales growth across various retail environments. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Bilingual abilities and experience in technology or retail sales are highly valued. This position offers opportunities for professional development and career advancement within a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products or services
Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to enhance customer understanding and interest
Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities
Maintain merchandising standards to ensure attractive product displays
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
Utilize strong communication skills to build rapport with clients and team members
Organize and manage time effectively to meet sales targets and customer demands
Maintain organized records of sales activities and customer interactions
Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment as needed

Qualifications

Proven experience in retail sales, technical sales, or related fields preferred
Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus, especially in English and other languages relevant to the customer base
Experience with product demos, merchandising, POS systems, and cash handling is desirable
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Basic math skills for transaction processing and inventory management
Customer service orientation with a friendly, professional demeanor
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a retail setting
Prior experience in upselling techniques is advantageous
