Nous sommes à la recherche d’un(e) Contrôleur(e) adjoint(e) expérimenté(e) et minutieux(se) pour soutenir le Contrôleur dans la gestion des fonctions comptables et financières de plusieurs entités. La personne retenue possédera de solides connaissances en comptabilité, de l’expérience dans les processus de fin de mois et de fin d’exercice, ainsi que la capacité de travailler efficacement dans un environnement dynamique.

Principales responsabilités

Maintenir le grand livre général et assurer l’exactitude des registres financiers.
Préparer les états financiers mensuels et les rapports de gestion.
Effectuer les conciliations bancaires et les rapprochements intersociétés.
Gérer les activités bancaires, y compris les paiements électroniques (TEF), les virements bancaires et les transferts de fonds.
Vérifier les factures des comptes fournisseurs et superviser le traitement des paiements.
Préparer et soumettre les remises de TPS, TVQ, paiements d’impôts corporatifs et autres déclarations gouvernementales.
Gérer les paiements de commissions, les comptes de compensation et l’importation des données dans Sage.
Répondre aux demandes provenant d’organismes gouvernementaux, de conseillers juridiques et de consultants.
Coordonner la préparation des états financiers de fin d’exercice et des dossiers d’audit pour Deloitte pour plusieurs entités.
Appuyer le Contrôleur dans les projets spéciaux et autres tâches comptables connexes.

Qualifications

Minimum de 3 ans d’expérience en comptabilité, idéalement dans un environnement multi-entités.
Solide connaissance de la production des états financiers, des conciliations et des processus de fin de mois et de fin d’exercice.
Maîtrise d’Excel et des logiciels comptables; l’expérience avec Sage est un atout.
Excellentes aptitudes en organisation, analyse et communication.
Une expérience dans les secteurs de l’hôtellerie ou de la restauration constitue un atout.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Controller to support the Controller in managing the accounting and financial reporting functions for multiple entities. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, experience with month-end and year-end processes, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain the General Ledger and ensure accurate financial records.
Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile intercompany transactions.
Manage banking activities, including EFTs, wire payments, and transfers.
Review accounts payable invoices and oversee payment processing.
Prepare and submit GST, QST, corporate tax payments, and other government filings.
Manage commission payments, clearing house accounts, and data imports into Sage.
Assist with government, legal, and consultant inquiries.
Coordinate year-end financial statement preparation and audit files for Deloitte across multiple entities.
Support the Controller with special projects and other accounting duties as required.

Qualifications

3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity environment.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end processes.
Proficiency with Excel and accounting software; Sage experience is an asset.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Hospitality, hotel, or restaurant industry experience is considered an asset.
