Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to join our busy restaurant team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a commitment to food safety standards. Prior experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated individuals. This position offers an opportunity to gain valuable kitchen experience and develop skills in food handling, meal preparation, and restaurant operations.

Responsibilities

Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment promptly to ensure cleanliness and availability for food preparation.
Assist with basic meal and food preparation tasks under the supervision of kitchen staff.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing work areas regularly.
Organize and store clean dishes and kitchen supplies efficiently.
Support food handling procedures to adhere to food safety standards.
Help with general kitchen cleaning duties, including waste disposal and equipment maintenance.
Assist in serving guests when needed, ensuring excellent customer service.

Experience

Previous experience in cooking, food service, or restaurant environments is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with food handling procedures and food safety regulations is advantageous.
Experience with meal preparation or general kitchen work will be considered a plus.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role.
