Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Head Server/Assistant Manager to lead our dynamic restaurant team. This pivotal role combines exceptional customer service with team leadership, ensuring a memorable dining experience for every guest. As a key player in our hospitality environment, you will oversee daily operations, supervise staff, and uphold the highest standards of food safety and service excellence. Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the serving staff, ensuring efficient and friendly service at all times
Assist with food preparation and cooking to support kitchen operations when needed
Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS for order processing and transactions
Oversee food handling procedures to ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations
Train, mentor, and evaluate team members, including interviewing potential new hires and conducting performance reviews
Handle cash transactions accurately and reconcile daily sales reports
Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, bar, and service stations
Support restaurant management in inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining health standards
Lead by example in delivering exceptional hospitality experiences that encourage repeat business

Experience

Proven experience in food service roles, including serving, bartending, or barista work within the food industry or hospitality sector
Supervising or team management experience in a restaurant or similar environment
Strong background in restaurant management practices, including food safety protocols and cash handling procedures
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff members
Experience in interviewing and onboarding new team members is highly desirable
Knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation techniques, and overall restaurant flow is a plus
Previous hotel or bar experience can be advantageous but is not required
