Dean Group's Manufacturing division is now recruiting for General Labourers for one of our reputable clients in Waterloo.

Job Title: General Labourer
Employment Type: Contract to Permanent

Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Shift: Afternoons; Monday - Friday, 2:50pm - 11:00pm
*Must be willing to train on days

Vacancy Status: This posting is for a currently vacant position that we intend to fill.

Job Summary:
Seeking a General Labourer to support manufacturing operations in a fast-paced environment. Duties include operating machinery, monitoring quality, and maintaining accurate production records. This role is ideal for someone hands-on, detail-oriented, and motivated to grow within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate assigned machinery according to specifications
Load and unload machines
Accurately track and record part counts
Inspect parts using check fixtures
Complete check sheets and scrap logs
Report issues to the Set-Up Operator
Perform other duties as required

Qualifications:

Both written and verbal communication in English
Mechanically inclined with prior machine operation experience preferred
Ability to work independently and within a team
Good time management and attention to detail
Strong manual dexterity
Minimum of some high school education or equivalent
3-6 months of manufacturing experience preferred
