About Pulse Construction Pulse Construction Inc. is a well-established, family-owned commercial construction and building services company serving the Greater Toronto Area. We specialize in commercial construction, renovations, retrofits, brand rollouts, preventive maintenance, and full building management. We pride ourselves on delivering quality work on time and within budget while maintaining strong, long-term client relationships.

We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Cobourg. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking a stable workload in a growing, family-oriented business with real growth potential.

What You’ll Do

Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
Enter bills and expenses into QuickBooks Online
Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable, including cheque runs
Process payroll (using Payworks)
Create customer invoices and manage Accounts Receivable collections
Prepare financial reports and job-costing reports to support the Owner and management team
Handle EHT, HST and WSIB filings
Manage filing and organization of financial documents
Maintain accurate job costing and financial records for construction projects
Work with Buildertrend for project-related financial data
Support the overall financial health of the company

What You Bring

3–5 years of relevant bookkeeping or accounting experience
College diploma or University degree in Accounting (preferred)
Experience with Excel
Experience with QuickBooks Online (preferred)
Experience with Buildertrend and Payworks (strong assets)
Strong understanding of HST, WSIB, and construction industry accounting
Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently in a small-team environment
Construction industry experience is highly preferred
