Executek International specializes in recruitment and training division by hiring and developing security professionals to excel in full-time positions.

We are currently growing our team and looking for individuals who are reliable, efficient, alert, great physical fitness, and able to serve client's needs. This position is ideal for a mature security professional who is confident, customer-focused, and experienced in hospitality or nightlife environments. The successful candidate will maintain a visible security presence, assist restaurant staff, and ensure guests enjoy a safe and welcoming atmosphere.

Our security guards must maintain professionalism, poise, and control in their interactions with guests, customers, and restaurant staff visitors, while maintaining the highest level of customer-centric service. The ideal candidate will have a service-oriented mindset with the ability to approach people and making everyone feel valued.

Duties & Responsibilities

Maintain a professional security presence throughout the restaurant.
Monitor guest behaviour to help prevent disturbances and overconsumption of alcohol.
De-escalate conflicts using strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
Remove individuals involved in disruptive or unsafe behaviour when required.
Assist reception/front entrance staff with guest flow and access control.
Monitor entrances and exits while maintaining a welcoming environment.
Conduct interior patrols of the establishment to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
Respond to incidents and emergencies in accordance with company policies.
Complete detailed incident reports and documentation as required.
Communicate effectively with restaurant management and Executek supervisors.
Report any safety concerns, hazards, or suspicious activity immediately.
Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism at all times.

Apply if you:

Possess a valid Ontario Security Guard License
Possess a valid Smart Serve Certification
Must have minimum 1-year experience in the field of security (hospitality, bar, restaurant)
Eligible to work in Canada
Have previous experience with report writing
Must be flexible and reliable in schedule (Afternoons, Evenings, Overnight, Weekends, Holidays)
Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
Must possess a valid driver's licence and have access to a reliable vehicle.
Ability to work independently while maintaining communication with management and mobile supervisors.
Have de-escalation techniques to prevent disturbances and overconsumption of alcohol.
Use of Force training is an asset
