Full job description

Job Summary

Rapidly expanding landscaping company are seeking a motivated and experienced Landscape Gardener Crew Leader to oversee and coordinate landscape maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive horticultural knowledge, and hands-on experience in gardening. As a crew leader, you will guide a team of landscapers to ensure high-quality work while maintaining safety standards and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of landscape technicians during daily operations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to client specifications
Plan and organize landscape maintenance activities, including planting, pruning, and weeding of garden beds
Coordinate (at times) with clients to understand their needs and provide professional recommendations for landscape improvements
Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies
Assist with construction-related tasks such as installing hardscape features or landscape structures when necessary
Monitor project progress and report on team performance to management

Requirements

Proven experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, horticulture, or related fields
Supervising or leadership experience within a landscaping or construction environment
Strong knowledge of, horticultural practices, and landscape construction techniques
Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Physical ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions and lift heavy equipment or materials as needed
Valid driver’s license and experience with driving truck and trailer for transportation between job sites

Pay: $28.75-$35.80 per hour
