Full job description

Important – Please Read Before Applying:
We are only accepting applications from candidates who have previous experience in a physiotherapy, foot care, or chiropractic clinic. Familiarity with JaneApp or comparable EMR platforms and direct billing through extended health insurance portals (e.g., Telus Health, Provider Connect) is mandatory. Applications not meeting these requirements will not be considered. This position is for evening and weekend (Saturday) shifts, please do not apply if you are not available for these times.

About the Clinic

Townline ChiroPhysio & Foot Clinic is a trusted, multi-disciplinary healthcare practice offering chiropractic care, physiotherapy, massage therapy, and chiropody. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional care and maintaining a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Role Overview

We are looking for a part-time Medical Receptionist with relevant clinic experience to join our front desk team. Must be available for evening and weekend shifts, with additional coverage for vacations and occasional sick days as needed.

Key Duties

Welcome patients and handle check-in procedures with professionalism
Confirm and update personal and insurance information accurately
Answer phone calls and manage general inquiries
Book, adjust, and cancel appointments using JaneApp
Process payments and submit insurance claims via Telus Health, Provider Connect, Blue Cross, Sun Life, etc.
Ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of electronic patient records
Support daily administrative operations and clinic communications
Participate in staff meetings and continued education sessions as required
Assist with maintaining a clean and organized clinic environment, including laundering treatment linens.

What We’re Looking For

Experience working in a healthcare office setting (physiotherapy, chiropractic, or foot care)
Skilled with Microsoft Office, EMR systems (especially JaneApp), and insurance portals
Ability to focus and stay efficient in a busy and occasionally interruptive environment
Strong multitasking and organizational skills with an eye for detail
Discretion when handling private health information
Quick to adapt and eager to learn new systems or processes
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
Friendly, professional communication and excellent patient service skills
