Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) — Revenue Split or Room Rental

Temple of Healing Therapy is a Zen-inspired multidisciplinary clinic located in Brooklin, Whitby. We offer Registered Massage Therapy, Manual Osteopathic Practice, Acupuncture, Physiotherapy, and Zen Shiatsu in a calm, professional, and collaborative environment.
We are seeking a compassionate, professional, and growth-oriented Registered Massage Therapist to join our clinic as an independent practitioner.
Two arrangements are available:
- Revenue-split independent contractor position with clinic support, marketing, booking, payment processing, linens, and referrals.
- Treatment-room rental for an established RMT who prefers to manage their own patients, schedule, payments, and business operations.
New graduates are welcome to apply for the revenue-split position. The room-rental option is best suited to a practitioner with an existing or growing client base.
Responsibilities
- Provide therapeutic and relaxation massage treatments tailored to each client’s needs
- Complete assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in accordance with CMTO standards
- Communicate professionally with clients and other clinic practitioners
- Maintain a clean, calm, and professional treatment environment
- Collaborate with other practitioners when appropriate
- Manage your own bookings, payments, records, and clients when choosing the room-rental arrangement
Qualifications
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario
- Valid professional liability insurance
- Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain it
- Strong communication, professionalism, and client-care skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary environment
- Experience is an asset, but new graduates are welcome
- Interest in holistic and integrative care is an asset
- An existing client base is preferred for the room-rental option
Compensation OptionsOption 1: Revenue Split
- 65% practitioner revenue split, calculated on treatment revenue before HST
- Current client fee is $120 including HST for a 60-minute treatment
- Practitioner compensation is approximately $69.03 per completed 60-minute treatment, plus applicable HST for HST-registered practitioners
- Opportunity for a higher split may be considered based on experience, availability, and existing clientele
- Clinic marketing and internal referral opportunities
- Online booking and charting through Jane
- Payment processing and direct-billing support
- Linens and laundry support
Option 2: Treatment-Room Rental
- Rent a fully furnished treatment room and operate your own independent practice
- Set and manage your own schedule
- Manage your own patients, pricing, payments, charting, insurance billing, and marketing
- Keep your treatment revenue, subject to the agreed room-rental fee
- Suitable for an established practitioner or an RMT building an independent practice
- Part-time or recurring rental arrangements may be available
- Rental rate and included services will be discussed based on the number of days or shifts required

Schedule
Flexible part-time shifts and recurring room-rental arrangements are available. Afternoon, evening, and weekend availability is especially valuable.
