Bilingual Accounting Manager (Korean/English)

Location: Whitby, ON (On-site)
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $85,000 – $110,000 per year

About the Role

The Accounting Manager will oversee accounting and finance operations for the Canadian entity. This role is responsible for financial reporting, cash flow management, compliance, and day-to-day accounting activities while serving as a key liaison between the Canadian operation and global headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle accounting, including AP, AR, payroll, general ledger, and month-end/year-end processes
Prepare, analyze, and present monthly and annual financial statements and management reports
Monitor cash flow and support budgeting and forecasting activities
Manage banking activities, electronic payments, and trade finance transactions
Ensure compliance with Canadian accounting standards and tax regulations
Support audits and coordinate with external accounting and tax advisors
Develop and improve internal financial controls and procedures
Communicate regularly with headquarters regarding financial reporting and business performance

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA designation (completed or in progress) preferred
5+ years of accounting or finance experience
Experience with ERP systems; SAP Business One experience is an asset
Strong understanding of Canadian accounting practices and tax regulations
Professional proficiency in both Korean and English
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
