Full job description

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Servers to join our dynamic restaurant team. As a Server, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional guest service, ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are maintained, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about the food industry and hospitality to develop their skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols are followed at all times
Assist with food preparation and kitchen tasks as needed to support smooth operations
Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables promptly during busy periods
Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in accordance with sanitation standards
Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction

Experience

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and billing accurately
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and food handling procedures in the food industry
Experience with food preparation, serving, or kitchen work is advantageous
Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for success in this role

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
