Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond promptly to incidents. This role is vital in maintaining a secure environment through proactive surveillance and loss prevention measures.

Duties

Monitor security cameras and surveillance systems (CCTV) to detect suspicious activity or security breaches.
Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify potential security risks or safety hazards.
Enforce access control procedures by verifying credentials and managing visitor check-ins.
Respond swiftly and appropriately to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, including potential theft or vandalism.
Maintain detailed incident reports and logs for all security-related activities.
Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing and deterring theft or unauthorized access.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary and provide assistance during investigations.
Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations at all times.

Experience

Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
Knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and loss prevention techniques is highly desirable.
Strong observational skills with the ability to identify suspicious behavior quickly.
Excellent communication skills for effective reporting and interaction with staff and visitors.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively during emergencies.
