YOU ARE:

A creative and detail-oriented Landscape Professional with a strong understanding of landscape construction, design, and site practices
A strong communicator who enjoys working with clients, suppliers, and internal team members
Organized, accountable, and able to manage multiple leads, designs, estimates, and follow ups at the same time
Confident working with clients, asking good questions, and helping them move from initial inquiry to design, estimate, and signed project
Comfortable working independently, while still following company process and collaborating closely with the operations team
Detail oriented and committed to quality, accuracy, customer service, and a strong client experience
Motivated by goals and excited working toward sales, estimating, and design targets
Open minded, easy going, and able to think critically, solve problems, and improve systems as the role evolves

THE DUTIES INCLUDE:

Following internal sales, design, and estimating processes to ensure a smooth client journey
Responding to residential landscape construction leads and completing the initial client vetting process
Meeting with clients on site to understand their goals, review the scope of work, take measurements, and gather project details
Creating landscape designs and/or layouts
Presenting design or layout concepts to clients in a professional and timely manner
Preparing accurate residential landscape estimates
Communicating with clients, suppliers, subtrades, and internal team members in a professional manner
Reviewing estimates and designs with the Sales Manager to ensure accuracy before sending them to clients
Participating in project handoff meetings with the Project Manager once a job has been accepted

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS:

Valid B.C. driver’s licence and clean driver’s abstract
Landscape construction experience
Landscape design background
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to stay organized and manage multiple active leads and projects
Comfortable using computer and landscape and software (MS suite, LMN, design software, etc.)
Ability to work independently and follow company sales, estimating, design, and handoff processes

ADDITIONAL ASSETS, BUT NOT REQUIRED:

Estimating experience
Experience using LMN software
Red Seal Horticulture ticket
