Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fixed Operations Manager to lead our service, and repair departments. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving profitability through efficient management of the dealership’s fixed operations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive dealership experience, mechanical knowledge, and strong leadership skills to foster a team-oriented environment that emphasizes quality service and operational excellence. This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to our business success by optimizing processes, enhancing customer satisfaction, and increasing revenue streams.

Duties

Oversee the daily operations of the service department, and repair facilities to ensure smooth workflow and high productivity.
Develop and implement strategies to improve customer service experiences, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.
Manage technician schedules, workflow, and productivity to maximize efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
Monitor departmental financial performance, including sales targets, gross profit margins, and expense control.
Lead efforts in upselling additional services or repairs to enhance revenue while maintaining integrity and customer trust.
Handle escalated customer concerns promptly and professionally to resolve issues effectively.
Maintain compliance with all safety regulations, dealership policies, and industry standards.
Oversee cash handling procedures within the departments to ensure accuracy and security.
Collaborate with sales teams to promote service packages and repair plans that meet customer needs.
Foster a team-oriented environment through hiring, coaching, training, and performance evaluations.

Requirements

Proven dealership experience in a management role within fixed operations.
Extensive mechanical knowledge or background as a mechanic is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of automotive repair processes, inventory management, and service operations.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build lasting relationships with clients.
Demonstrated ability in sales techniques, upselling services effectively without compromising integrity.
Experience managing cash handling procedures accurately in a retail environment.
Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, motivate staff, and drive operational success.
Effective communication skills for interacting with customers, technicians, vendors, and management.
Ability to analyze financial reports and implement strategies for growth.
