Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring a smooth kitchen operation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills and contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Duties

Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and quality standards
Cook and assemble dishes efficiently while maintaining consistency and presentation standards
Handle food safely by following proper food handling and sanitation procedures
Assist with cleaning and organizing kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment
Support the team during service hours by serving food promptly and courteously
Maintain inventory levels of ingredients and notify management of supply needs
Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth kitchen operations

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles within a restaurant or food industry setting
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong understanding of meal preparation, serving, and kitchen operations
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance is preferred

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
