Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional grooming services that enhance pets' health and appearance of pets. This role involves working closely with pet owners to deliver personalized grooming experiences in a friendly and professional environment. Candidates should be comfortable handling various breeds and sizes of animals, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the grooming process.

Responsibilities

Bathing, drying, and brushing pets to prepare them for grooming
Trimming and styling fur according to breed standards or customer preferences
Cleaning ears, trimming nails, and maintaining overall pet hygiene
Handling pets gently and securely to ensure their safety during grooming procedures
Communicating with pet owners about grooming needs, special instructions, or health concerns
Maintaining a clean and organized grooming station, including sanitizing tools and work areas
Managing appointment schedules efficiently to provide timely service
Providing excellent customer service by addressing client questions and feedback professionally

Experience

At least 2 years of prior experience in pet grooming; Certified pet professional groomer preferred.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners
Physical ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger animals
Compassionate attitude towards animals with patience and gentle handling skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Well-organized with good time management skills
