Full job description

Roof Tops Roofing Ltd. is seeking experienced and motivated Commercial Flat Roofers to join our growing team. As a Commercial Flat Roofer, you will be responsible for performing roof repairs, replacements, and maintenance for commercial and industrial clients. This is an exciting opportunity to join a reputable company known for quality work and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, repair, and maintain flat roofing systems, including EPDM, TPO, PVC, Modified Bitumen, and Build-up Roofs (BUR).
Handle all aspects of roofing work, including tearing off, laying insulation, installing vapour barriers, and applying membranes.
Ensure all work complies with company standards, safety regulations, and building codes.
Operate roofing equipment and tools effectively and safely.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.
Perform regular roof inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure roof longevity.
Provide accurate reports and take photos of completed work and any identified deficiencies.
Assist in emergency roof repairs as needed, providing 24/7 service.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial flat roofing.
Proficient in all aspects of flat roofing systems (installation, repairs, maintenance).
Strong understanding of safety practices and procedures.
Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
Valid Working at Heights Certification (Preferred).
Valid driver license and reliable transportation to job sites.
Physically able to life heavy materials.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Knowledge of commercial/industrial roofing systems (e.g., TPO, EPDM, BUR).
Ability to work at heights and handle physical demands of the job.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Safety-conscious and able to adhere to safety standards and protocols
