Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and professional Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, possesses excellent communication skills, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an opportunity to showcase your bartending and serving talents while ensuring guests have a memorable experience.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
Serve drinks and meals in accordance with safety and quality standards
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as per recipes or guest requests
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and dining space
Check identification to verify legal drinking age
Handle cash transactions, process payments, and issue receipts
Assist with setting up tables, cleaning spills, and resetting tables promptly
Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns professionally
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation policies to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests

Skills

Previous experience as a server or bartender is preferred but not required; training will be provided
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly demeanor
Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail
Knowledge of POS systems for processing transactions accurately
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
Basic math skills for handling cash and making change
Knowledge of alcohol laws and responsible serving practices is a plus
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 25 pounds)
