Overview

We are seeking an energetic and highly skilled Head Chef to lead our culinary team and elevate our dining experience. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, from food preparation to team management, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and service. As the driving force behind our kitchen, you will inspire creativity, maintain exceptional food standards, and foster a positive, efficient work environment that delights our guests and supports our brand’s reputation for excellence.

Duties

Lead and supervise the entire kitchen team, including cooks, sous chefs, and kitchen assistants, fostering a collaborative and motivated environment
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency, presentation, and flavor excellence in all menu items
Manage food handling procedures to uphold strict food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations
Develop innovative menus that align with current culinary trends while catering to guest preferences and dietary needs
Coordinate with restaurant management on inventory control, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize kitchen efficiency
Train staff on proper food techniques, safety protocols, and customer service standards such as bartending and serving when needed
Maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment conducive to high-quality food production and safety compliance

Qualifications

Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting with a focus on culinary excellence
Extensive food preparation and cooking expertise across diverse cuisines
Strong background in restaurant management, including team leadership and operational oversight
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for handling perishable ingredients
Experience in food service roles such as bartending or serving is advantageous for team versatility
Demonstrated ability to manage a busy kitchen efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff, resolve conflicts, and foster a positive work culture
