Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. This role is essential in ensuring a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment for employees, clients, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and facilities maintenance, with a strong focus on attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal in various areas of the facility
Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, hallways, offices, and common areas
Conduct deep cleaning and sanitation as needed to uphold health standards
Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper in designated areas
Perform minor maintenance tasks or report issues related to facility upkeep
Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use
Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly to prevent accidents or hazards

Qualifications

Proven experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance preferred
Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and safety protocols
Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, or floor scrubbers is a plus
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift
Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality
