The Opportunity

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team on a contract basis, starting part-time with flexible hours and a strong pathway toward full-time growth.

This role is ideal for an NP passionate about pediatric development, mental health, behavioural support, and collaborative family-centered care. You’ll have the opportunity to work closely alongside psychologists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists within an integrated care model that supports children and families more holistically.

What You’ll Do

You will provide assessment, consultation, and ongoing follow-up care for children and adolescents within an integrated pediatric setting.

Clinical Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive pediatric and developmental health consultations
Support children experiencing:
ADHD and executive functioning concerns
Anxiety and emotional regulation difficulties
Behavioural challenges
Sleep difficulties
Developmental and school-related concerns
Autism-related support needs
Provide medication consultation and management where appropriate
Develop clear, practical treatment and support plans for families
Coordinate referrals, recommendations, and collaborative care planning
Complete clinical documentation and reports as needed

Collaborative Work:

Work closely with psychologists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists
Participate in integrated care planning and case collaboration
Support families with practical, functional strategies across home, school, and community environments
Contribute to a warm, family-centered clinical culture

Qualifications

Registered Nurse Practitioner in good standing with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)
Experience working with children, adolescents, and families strongly preferred
Interest or experience in pediatric mental health, ADHD, developmental health, or behavioural support considered a strong asset
Strong interpersonal, clinical, and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
Passion for child and family-centered care
