Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Laborer to join our roofing team. This role is ideal for individuals who are physically capable, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to various building projects. The Laborer will support skilled tradespeople by performing a variety of manual tasks, ensuring the smooth progression of roofing activities. This position offers valuable hands-on experience in the flat roofing industry and opportunities for skill development.

Duties

Assist with the use of hand tools and power tools to perform roofing tasks
Perform heavy lifting of materials, equipment, and supplies safely and efficiently
Conduct general handyman tasks such as repairs, maintenance, and site cleanup
Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a secure work environment
Support team members with miscellaneous tasks as needed to meet project deadlines

Qualifications

Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks daily
Training will be provided
A valid Working at Heights Certificate is an assett
Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety standards
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Reliable transportation and the ability to commute to job sites as required
